Knowing which Sewage Pumping Station is right for you can be difficult, this is where PPS can help.

As a rule of thumb, Sewage Pumping Stations require 150 litres / per person / per day. This is known as 24-hour emergency storage. For example, for 4 occupants, you would require 600 Litres worth of storage.

For single properties, you can get away with installing a Single Pumping Station, however we would recommend you purchase a High Level Alarm. In the unfortunate event the pump breaks down / blocks, the water level will rise and signal an audible alarm, this will alert you that there is an issue. PPS do however recommend a Twin Sewage Pump Station as there is then a backup pump if ever required. 

Where there are multiple properties being pumped into one pumping station, a Twin Pumping Station is required. There is an alternative option to have one pumping station per property, so they are maintained individually.
